About the event
Cacao & Sound Ceremony.
An Evening of Heart Opening, Plant Medicine and Sound
Anahata is the Sanskrit name for the heart chakra, the energetic centre of love, grief, compassion and connection. This evening is an invitation to meet it.
We begin with ceremonial cacao, a plant medicine used for thousands of years across ancient traditions to open the heart, soften resistance, and bring us into fuller presence with ourselves. This is not hot chocolate. Ceremonial grade cacao is prepared and offered with intention, as part of an opening ritual that creates a container of warmth and care before the sound begins.
Cacao works gently on the cardiovascular and nervous system, increasing blood flow to the heart, quieting the inner critic, and creating a felt sense of openness in the chest. It does not take you anywhere you are not ready to go. It simply makes the door a little easier to walk through.
From this place, the sound bath becomes something different. Not just relaxing, but connecting. The vibrations of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, chimes and percussion move through the body in layers, woven together with deliberate moments of silence that evoke the rhythm of the heart itself. Sound here is not background. It is the conversation.
Drawing on her training as a Yoga Therapist with a deep understanding of the emotional body, Natalie creates a space where whatever arises is welcome. Grief, gratitude, softness, joy. There is nothing to fix. Only space to feel.
